1. Using WeGather
WeGather is an app for church small groups. It is free to start: every account gets a month with no card, and meetings and replies stay free afterwards. Chat, prayer, documents and the leader’s tools need a plan — paid by a person, by a group’s host, or by a church for all of its groups. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) and able to agree to these terms. Keep your sign-in email secure; you’re responsible for activity on your account.
2. Your content
You own what you post (messages, photos, documents, prayer requests). You give us permission to store it and show it to the people you share it with in the app, only to operate WeGather. Only post what you have the right to share. Remember that people in your group can see what you post there.
3. Groups and leaders
Group owners and admins manage their group: who joins, meetings, modules, and moderation. They can remove content and members. WeGather is not responsible for how a group is run or for meetings held in person, including hosting, food and travel — use normal care (for example with allergies).
4. No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior, including harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, spam, or content that endangers anyone. You can report any message or prayer request and block any person. Group leaders are notified of reports immediately and can remove the content and the person. We review reports sent to us within 24 hours and may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the app: no attempts to access other people’s data, to disrupt the service, to scrape it, or to use it for advertising or commercial solicitation.
6. Bible texts
Built-in Bible translations are public domain. “Open in YouVersion” opens a third-party service under its own terms.
7. Ending
You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations of these terms.
8. Disclaimers and liability
WeGather is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the last 12 months or USD 100. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; we’ll show the new date and tell you about significant changes. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, except where your local consumer law applies.
